Learning of Dee’s wish, the team from Whitchurch fire station were happy to oblige. Not only did she get to meet the crew, Dee also got to ride in the fire engine, use the firehose and have a cup of tea with them too.
The visit is part of the home’s mission to discover each resident’s bucket list and work their magic to make their wish come true.
A home spokesperson said: “The dedicated team at Berehill House care home are going above and beyond to add a smile to their residents’ faces. Care home manager, Michelle, and the activities coordinator have been on a mission to discover each resident’s bucket list and working their magic to make their wish come true.”
