HARRY Potter and Queen’s Gambit star is coming to Basingstoke next year.
Actor Harry Melling, known for his portrayal of Harry Potter’s cousin, Dudley Dursley, as well as high-ranking chess player Harry Beltik in the critically acclaimed Netflix show The Queen’s Gambit, will appear at Basingstoke Comic Con next May.
The announcement was made on X, formerly known as Twitter on Tuesday, December 19.

Melling will appear at the event on May 11 and 12 and will be available for autographs and pictures.
Appearing alongside the actor is headliner Richard Dean Anderson, known for playing secret agent MacGyver in the 1980s TV show of the same name, along with fellow Harry Potter actor Evanna Lynch.
Basingstoke Comic Con will take place from May 10-12, 2024, at the Hampshire Court Hotel, and will follow on from the success of this year's inaugural event, which saw the likes of David Tennant and Jeffrey Dean Morgan come to town.
