DRIVERS in and around Basingstoke and Deane will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• A303, from 8pm December 11 to 6am December 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 both directions Bullington to Highclere, carriageway and lane closures for structures inspection.
• M3, from 9pm December 9 2020 to 6am January 6 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 10, slip road closures for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme.
• M3, from 9am November 28 2023 to 5pm January 6 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 6 to junction 7, Hard shoulder closure for barrier repairs.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
