AN AIR ambulance was called to an incident at a Basingstoke shopping centre.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance was called in after an incident at Chineham Shopping Centre on Friday, December 22, just after 11am.
The helicopter landed on green space near Binfields Close, with ambulances stationed in the car park near Boots and M&S, and left the scene shortly after 12.45pm.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance said: "We can confirm that the air ambulance was dispatched to an incident in Basingstoke at 11:21 on Friday 22 December."
"The Critical Care Team of a doctor and specialist paramedic provided medical treatment to a patient before returning to base in Thruxton, Andover."
South Central Ambulance Service no longer provide information about these types of incidents.
Buses are currently not serving Chineham Shopping Centre, it has been announced on its X, formerly known as Twitter, page.
They said: "Due to heavy traffic in and around Tesco Chineham, services #4 #7 and #14 will not be able to serve it due to delays of 30 minutes and above to our services."
