A WOMAN who failed to stop at a collision and drove on the pavement has been ordered to undergo rehabilitation.
Chelsea Williams, of Woolford Way, Basingstoke, was involved in a crash in Cliddesden Road on Sunday, August 20, which caused damage to another vehicle. Following the incident, she failed to stop.
On Thursday, December 7, Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court heard that Williams also drove on the pavement on the same road.
The 23-year-old also didn’t have the correct insurance, was driving otherwise than in accordance with her licence and fraudulently used a registration mark.
Williams pleaded guilty to the five charges she faced and was told to complete up to 10 days of rehabilitation activity, along with being banned from driving for six months.
She was also told to pay £350 compensation and a fine of £80. Magistrates also endorsed her driving licence with seven penalty points.
