POUNDLAND at Chineham Shopping Centre shut its doors for good last weekend after a decade in the area.
The branch closed on Sunday, December 31 to the dismay of shoppers.
The company was unable to renew its lease for the shop, which sold a range of budget goods, including food, drink, stationery, home decorations, and seasonal items.

A sign has been placed outside the retailer, informing customers of the closure, and directing them to the store in Festival Place.
Staff at the branch will relocate to nearby locations.
Poundland opened at the shopping centre in late 2013, replacing shoe retailer Brantano.
