TWO women who allegedly tried to steal £500 from a third woman at a Hampshire ATM on Christmas Day have been charged.
Officers have been investigating a robbery incident in Aldershot after receiving a report that two women attempted to steal £500 from a woman near the NatWest ATM in Wellington Street on Monday, December 25.
Chelsea Ward-Smith, 31, of Pickford Street, Aldershot, and Amanda Glover, 41, of Station Road, Aldershot, have both been charged with attempted robbery.

Glover was also charged with two counts of theft from the person of another.
It comes after a woman had £50 stolen from her in Victoria Road on Friday, November 17. On Monday, December 25, a man had £50 taken from him in Wellington Street.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "The pair appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Monday, January 1 and were remanded into custody.
"They are next due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Thursday, February 1."
