Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service is appealing for young people in Basingstoke to take part in its Prince’s Trust programme.
Basingstoke Fire Station is offering a programme called TEAM, a free 12-week course available for 16-25-year-olds who are unemployed and not in education or training.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service has been delivering its Prince’s Trust team programme for the last 20 years with some great success stories.

The programme offers young people the chance to build confidence through a residential week away, team challenges, work experience placement, and a community project.
It also gives them a chance to break down personal barriers and overcome obstacles, aiding them in becoming better prepared for the world of work.
The programme's most recent event in Basingstoke raised over £300 to renovate a garden space for a local school.

At the end of the 12 weeks, a final ceremony is held where participants invite friends and family to watch them deliver speeches and receive their certificates.
Liam, a member of the most recent Prince's Trust team in Basingstoke, said: "Coming into the course, I wanted to find a stable group of friends as I didn't know anyone. Also, I wanted to brush up on my teamwork skills.
"To anyone thinking of joining, I would say, just go for it. You might be nervous at the start going into a group with strangers but at the end of it, it's worth it and you'll come out with some really good friends."
The station's next Team begins on Monday, January 22, with a taster day being held on Wednesday, January 17.
