CRIME reported to police in Basingstoke and Deane has decreased, according to the latest figures.
In November 2023 - the most recent month available - 1,100 crimes were reported across the borough, which is down from 1,206 crimes reported in the previous month of October, according to data.police.uk.
The most common category was violence and sexual offences, with 427 offences reported, which is up from 424 reports in October.
Criminal damage and arson was the second-most common category, with 116 reports during the month, followed by 84 reports of anti-social behaviour offences.
