CRIME lovers are in for a treat when a new murder play takes to the stage in Whitchurch.
WADS theatre will be staging the play, called, Murder in Play at the Whitchurch Parish Hall on Thursday, January 25, Friday, January 26 and Saturday, January 27.
The cast are more interested in their egos than the play and life imitates art when a cast member is murdered on stage.

But who done it? The philandering director or his mistress, the old school actor with a drink problem, the warring mature actresses – one from film and one from stage, or was it the stagehand fed up with being shouted at? So many to choose from and so many red herrings. Can you work it out before the final curtain?
This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd on behalf of Samuel French Ltd.
The theatre group meet on Tuesday evenings and always welcome new members.
