A WHITCHURCH school was shown off on Saturday night television – as it featured on ITV’s hit show The Masked Singer.
As viewers tuned into the show on Saturday, January 6, some recognised Testbourne Community School during Owl’s ‘clue’ video, as shots of the school were the backdrop.
The show, which airs on ITV 1 on Saturday nights features an array of celebrities singing but donning costumes to hide their identity - leaving it up to the panel, and people at home, to work out whose behind the mask.
Once the section was aired, people took to Spotted in Whitchurch and Whitchurch Families Facebook pages to ask others if their guess was correct.
One person wrote: “It definitely is, me and the twins saw it being filmed on the half term.”
Another said: “I said that as soon as it popped up! Great to see we have quite a following of The Masked Singer in Whitchurch!”
Others excitedly reported that they saw their homes as the camera panned over part of Whitchurch.
Owl remains in the competition - with judges Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan, having a range of guesses of who was behind the mask.
We will have to wait to see which famous face visited Whitchurch when Owl is unmasked.
