RESIDENTS at a care home in Hook recently experienced a surprise visit from a range of animals.
Residents at Old Raven House, in London Road, had the opportunity to pet and hold animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, a chicken, and ducks.
Pony Pals, an animal therapy team, visited the care home with the animals to provide a therapeutic experience to residents.

Home manager Anne Turner said: “The visit from Pony Pals was an absolute joy for everyone involved.
“It's heartwarming to see the smiles and hear the laughter among our residents. Such experiences are invaluable, especially for those in our care with dementia.
“The therapeutic benefits of animal interaction are undeniable, and we are deeply appreciative of Pony Pals for making this day so special.”
Old Raven House, which is managed by Healthcare Management Solutions, is rated as 'good' by the Care Quality Commission.
