DOGS Trust in Newbury is desperately appealing for a forever home for young dog Harper.
Harper, a three-year-old Trailhound crossbreed, arrived at Dogs Trust in November 2022 after being found as a stray and is now classed as an underdog by the charity due to having spent 419 days in its care.
The charity says Harper is a ‘sweet boy’ who loves to receive fuss and cuddles and needs an active, adult-only home as he enjoys long walks and exploring new places.

Natasha Tarrant, centre manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, said: “Harper is a lovely, handsome, chap, who would love to find his active forever family.
“A very sweet dog, Harper loves his toys and places his favourite soft toy next to himself when he goes to sleep.
“A firm favourite here at the centre, we know there is the perfect home out there for Harper – hopefully someone can take a chance on this underdog!”
Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare charity, caring for approximately 14,000 dogs across 21 rehoming centres in the UK.
