A notice has recently been placed on the door which reads: "Unfortunately closed until further notice".
It has now been confirmed that the pub will reopen under a new landlord, but a reopening date has not been confirmed.
A spokesperson for Stonegate said, “Laarsens, Basingstoke is currently closed. The pub is undergoing some essential maintence works at present, and will re-open to trade as usual in the coming weeks with a new publican, who is looking forward to welcoming locals back to the community hub.”
