FORMER Basingstoke Town midfielder James Harper has teamed up with his Reading teammate Dave Kitson as part of the coaching team at The Dave Kitson Academy.
Harper signed for Reading in 2001 and went on to make nearly 350 appearances for the Royals, scoring 26 goals.
The midfielder, now 43, was part of the Reading side that won the Championship title with a record 106 points in 2006 and secured promotion to the Premier League for the first time in the club's history.
The Royals went on to finish eighth in their first Premier League, with Harper a key player in midfield.

Harper started his career with Arsenal and spent nine years at Reading, before going on to play for Sheffield United, Hull City, Wycombe Wanderers, Doncaster Rovers, Basingstoke Town, Hungerford Town, Uxbridge and Ascot United.
He joined Basingstoke from Barnet in 2014 and made more than 50 appearances for the club.
Harper and Kitson offer one-to-one, small group and team coaching sessions for men, women, boys and girls of all ages.
