An 18-year-old has been charged with attempted murder after a person was attacked.
Officers were called at 11.24pm on Tuesday, January 30 to reports of an assault on a footpath near Buckskin Lane.
A man in his 40s reported being assaulted by someone with an unknown weapon, and his phone was also taken.

He suffered serious facial and head injuries and was taken to Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital to receive treatment.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "Amman Majid, 18, of Chivers Close, Basingstoke, has been charged with attempted murder and possessing a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place.

"He appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court on Saturday, February 3 and was remanded into custody.
"Majid is next due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, March 6.
"A 21-year-old man from Basingstoke arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and robbery has been bailed with conditions until Thursday, May 2."
