HEALTH and safety enquiries are underway after a man has been seriously injured and taken to hospital following an industrial incident in Basingstoke.
As previously reported, the incident happened on Wednesday, February 14 on Wade Road when police were called to a report that a man had suffered a serious leg injury in an industrial incident.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "The man, who is in his 30s, has been taken to hospital to receive treatment.

"Officers remain at the scene while they carry out enquiries. We are in liaison with the Health and Safety Executive."
A Health and Safety Executive spokesperson has since confirmed enquiries are underway.
They said: “We are aware of this incident and making enquiries.”
A spokesperson from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service added: "Firefighters worked closely with ambulance and police partners at an incident on Wade Road in Basingstoke shortly after 10am.
"Crews from Basingstoke, Winchester, Rushmoor and Eastleigh passed a casualty, who had suffered a serious leg injury, into the care of paramedics.
"The incident was left with police officers as HIWFRS left the scene and returned to station following the stop message at 12:41.
