STARS from a popular American comedy show about pirates will appear at Basingstoke Comic Con.
Vico Ortiz, Kristian Nairn and Con O’Neill will appear at the convention, having appeared as Jim, Wee John Feeney, and Izzy Hands in the HBO Max show Our Flag Means Death ,respectively.
The show follows Stede Bonnet, played by Rhys Darby, an unhappy aristocrat who abandons his family for a life at sea, becoming a pirate despite his lack of experience in crime and sailing, based on the adventures of the Gentleman Pirate who shares the same name.

The actors will appear at the event on May 10 and 11 and will be available for autographs and pictures, with a ‘pirate pass’ available for avid fans.
Appearing alongside them is headliner Richard Dean Anderson, known for playing secret agent MacGyver in the 1980s TV show of the same name, along with Harry Potter actors Evanna Lynch and Harry Melling.
Basingstoke Comic Con will take place from May 10-12, 2024, at the Hampshire Court Hotel, and will follow on from the success of this year's inaugural event, which saw the likes of David Tennant and Jeffrey Dean Morgan come to town.
