A WOMAN from Basingstoke has been handed penalty points for taking to the roads without insurance.
On Wednesday, March 22, last year, Eva Purton, of Warren Way, Basingstoke, drove a Mitsubishi on Black Dam Way with no insurance.
During a hearing held at Aldershot Magistrates' Court on Monday, February 5, the 59-year-old pleaded guilty to the driving offence.

Magistrates handed Purton eight penalty points and ordered a fine of £120 to be paid.
Court costs of £55 and a surcharge fee of £48 must also be paid.
