A BASINGSTOKE drink driver has been band from getting behind the wheel for a year.
On Sunday, September 24 last year Thomas L'Heureux of The Moorings, drove a BMW on Western Way in Basingstoke with 41 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit is 35.

During a hearing held at Aldershot Magistrates' Court on Friday, February 16 the 38-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.
Magistrates banned him from getting behind the wheel for 12 months and ordered a fine of £787 to be paid.
Court costs of £150 and a surcharge fee of £315 must be paid.
