A husband and father struggled with his mental health in the run-up to his death, an inquest heard.
John Christian Ibbetson was found dead in Basingstoke on Wednesday, April 5 2023.
Senior coroner Christopher Wilkinson concluded that the 47-year-old took his life while suffering from an acute anxiety crisis.
The inquest, held at Winchester Coroner's Court on February 29, heard a letter from John's wife, Hayley Ibbetson who described him as an 'outgoing, fun and friendly man, and dedicated father to our children.'
The letter added that 'a lack of help from mental health services and drinking made a perfect storm.'

A statement from a family friend was read in court. It said: "I was a very good friend of John and had known him since 2009. He was a kind-hearted man who was very positive and lived a happy life with his wife, kids, family and friends, spending years making amazing memories."
Mr Wilkinson ruled Mr Ibbetson's death as suicide.
He added: "I would like to extend my sincere condolences to John's family and friends and hope this inquest gives you the answers you need to help come to terms with your loss."
