A YOUNG woman who suffered a cardiac arrest at a Basingstoke bar was saved thanks to the quick action of door staff at the venue.
She suffered an asthma attack at Plush Lounge Bar, Wote Street, on Thursday, February 29, which led her to have a cardiac arrest.
Door staff at the venue then saved her life by performing CPR, the bar has said.

In a post shared on Facebook by Plush Lounge Bar to curb speculation, they said: "There was an incident last night where a young lady sadly suffered an asthma attack and had a cardiac arrest in our venue.
"Thankfully due to professionalism, training and awareness our door staff they were able to perform CPR and save the young girls life.
"We are sending our best wishes to her and her family and wish her a speedy recovery.
"Would like to thank our door staff on record for their ability to handle this situation and thankfully ending with no casualty."
