A POPULAR South Indian restaurant in Basingstoke recently hosted a successful charity quiz night in support of St. Michael's Hospice.
The event was held at Elai, in London Street, on February 27 and drew in local businesses and individuals for an evening of fun, food, and fundraising.
The unique setting of Elai, housed in a historical building, provided a charming backdrop for the lively event. Participants enjoyed a delicious Indian meal and engaged in spirited competition across various quiz rounds.
Restaurant owner Nidhin Satheesan said: "We are proud to support St Michael's Hospice and the vital care they provide to our community. The quiz night was a fantastic way to raise funds and bring people together for a good cause."
St Michael's Hospice, an independent charity based in Basingstoke that supports people across North Hampshire living with a life-limiting illness, expressed its gratitude for the event's success, highlighting the importance of community support in meeting their daily fundraising needs.
Beyond the immediate fundraising success, the event fostered a sense of community and camaraderie amongst local businesses.
