A SUSPECTED thief has stolen more than £700 worth of items from a supermarket in Basingstoke.
Aaron Grant, 32, of no fixed abode, has been charged with four counts of theft from a shop and theft of a pedal cycle.
It comes after police officers received reports that items were stolen from the Sainsbury’s store in The Malls in the town centre on four separate occasions between Thursday, December 28 and Friday, March 1.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson also said a bike worth more than £750 was stolen from Wote Street on Tuesday, January 2.
Grant is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Monday, March 4.
