TWO pubs in Basingstoke will hold a 'beer festival' with a range of real ales for under £3.
Wetherspoons pubs The Angel in Festival Place and The Maidenhead Inn on Winchester Street will host the festival from Wednesday, March 6 to Sunday, March 17, which will include a number of beers brewed for the event.
The range of up to 20 real ales, which includes five selections from brewers in Taiwan, Germany, the USA, Belgium, and Italy, will feature a range of malt and hop varieties worldwide, as well as beers with notes of chocolate and vanilla.

The vegan beers will be priced from £2.29 to £2.49 a pint, with taster sizes also available.
The manager at The Angel pub, Jo Stevens-Yule, said: "The festival is a great celebration of real ale.
"It will allow us to showcase a selection of superb beers, including those from overseas, over a 12-day period, at great value-for-money prices.
"It will also give our customers the opportunity to enjoy a number of beers which have not previously been available in the pub, as well as those brewed specially for the festival."
