A BASINGSTOKE driver has been handed penalty points after being caught speeding on the A33.
On Thursday, November 22, 2022, Blaise Elie, of Loyalty Lane, drove a Mercedes on the A33, Reading Road, in Chineham, at 74 miles per hour - the limit is 50.
During a hearing held at Aldershot Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, February 21, the 23-year-old was sentenced for the offence.

Elie pleaded guilty to speeding on Thursday, September 21, last year.
Magistrates handed Elie six penalty points and ordered a fine of £166 to be paid.
Court costs of £85 and a surcharge fee of £66 must also be paid.
