THE 2024 Easter pantomime at Anvil Arts has announced its star-studded cast.
The story of Beauty & The Beast will be brought to life on stage.
Lee Latchford-Evans, from pop group Steps, will take on the role of Prince/Beast, with CBBC and Blue Peter's Barney Harwood as Gaston.
Steve Royle, a Britain’s Got Talent finalist, will bring laughs as Silly Billy, and Carma Hylton from CBBC’s The Dumping Ground will be playing Good Fairy.
Returning favourites include Dame Lewis Denny as Dame Betty Baguette, and returning lead Ellena Bacon as Belle.
The show promises to entertain with energetic dance routines, catchy songs, and a combination of slapstick and audience participation.
The story of Beauty & The Beast showcases the characters Belle and a bad-mannered prince who is transformed into a beast.
There is also the Good Fairy who makes both of their dreams come true.
Ticket prices for the pantomime, set to be performed on April 9, are set at £26.50, with discounted prices of £24.50 for over 65s, full-time students, and under 16s.
Family tickets are being sold for £96.
