BASINGSTOKE-based banknote maker De La Rue is to manufacture King Charles III polymer notes, which will arrive this June.
The company, based in Jays Close, has been working closely with the Bank of England to introduce the new designs featuring King Charles.

Entering circulation on June 5, the new polymer banknotes will circulate alongside those featuring Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, which will remain legal tender.
While the notes will feature the likes of Jane Austen, Winston Churchill and Alan Turing, The King’s image will appear as a portrait on the front of the banknotes, as well as in the see-through security window.
