POLICE have launched an investigation after finding a box full of suspected shotgun cartridges in a road near Sherfield on Loddon.
Hampshire Constabulary is appealing to the public for information following the discovery of the box in Rotherwick Lane in Hartley Wespall.
It contained a total of 50 x 10 gauge and 89 x 12 gauge cartridges.
The vehicle box is identified as a Sentribox with the number X422.
Anyone with information regarding the box or its contents is urged to contact Hampshire Police on 101, quoting crime reference number 44240108221.
