A BASINGSTOKE man has been fined after travelling on a tram without paying for a valid ticket.
On Wednesday, November 22 last year Mason Taylor, of Stratfield Road, at Ampere Way entered the Croydon Tramlink system when he did not have with him a valid ticket for the entire journey.
During a hearing held at Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, March 13 in London the 32-year-old was sentenced for the offence.

Magistrates ordered Taylor to pay a fine of £220.
He must also pay back compensations costs of £1.75 as well as court costs of £100 and a surcharge fee of £88.
Taylor was not present at the hearing.
