A CARELESS driver who caused 'serious injury' to another person has been banned for a year.
On Tuesday, September 19 last year Rachel Cookson, of Ashford Hill Road in Thatcham drove a Hyundai Ioniq A339 in Basingstoke, without due care and attention and caused serious injury to someone else.
During a hearing held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Thursday, March 21 the 48-year-old pleaded guilty to the driving offence.

Magistrates banned Cookson from getting behind a wheel for 12 months and ordered a fine of £400 to be paid.
Court costs of £85 and a surcharge fee of £160 must also be paid.
