A NEW Women's Walking Football Club will be launched in Basingstoke on Monday, April 22.
Basingstoke Women's Walking Football Club will be unveiled at Basingstoke Soccer Centre in Brighton Way, Basingstoke.

Players must keep at least one foot in contact with the ground at all times, eliminating the possibility of rapid movement.
Affiliated with and endorsed by Hampshire FA, the Basingstoke Women's Walking Football Club operates as a non-profit community organisation.
Their primary objectives include fostering a sense of fun, enhancing physical fitness, and combating social isolation.
The club offers a welcoming environment for individuals who may have transitioned away from traditional running football.
The club has ambitious plans to participate in the Hampshire FA Women’s Walking Football League, slated to commence in September 2024.
This league is tailored for women aged 40 and above.
In addition to playing opportunities, the club is also seeking individuals interested in contributing to its operations in various back-office roles.
Prospective members and curious individuals are encouraged to register their interest via email at basingstoke.wwfc@gmail.com.
