THE star of Our Flag Means Death and Jumanji will appear at Basingstoke Comic Con this May.
Rhys Darby is known for his portrayal as wealthy land-owner turned pirate Stede Bonnet in the HBO show Our Flag Means Death, based on the adventures of the Gentleman Pirate who shares the same name.
Mr Darby is also recognised for his role in the 2017 film Jumanji starring Dwayne Johnson, as field guide Nigel Billingsly, which he also reprised in the 2019 film, Jumanji: The Next Level.

The Kiwi actor will appear at the convention on May 11 and 12, with photographs and autographs available to purchase.
The actor joins the lineup with fellow Our Flag Means Death stars Vico Ortiz, Con O'Neill, and Kristian Nairn, as well as headliners Richard Armitage and Richard Dean Anderson.
Basingstoke Comic Con will take place from May 10-12, 2024, at the Hampshire Court Hotel, and will follow on from the success of last year's inaugural event, which saw the likes of David Tennant and Jeffrey Dean Morgan come to town.
