DRIVERS in Basingstoke and Deane will have twelve National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a holdup of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

  • A303, from 8pm March 12 to 6am March 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Micheldever, slip road, services and lane closures for inspection work.

And a further 10 closures will begin over the next two weeks:

  • A34, from 8pm March 25 to 6am March 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Bullington to Highclere, Lane closures for survey work.
  • A303, from 8pm March 27 to 6am March 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Micheldever, slip road and lane closures for signage work.
  • A34, from 8pm April 2 to 6am April 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Bullington to Whitchurch, Lane closures for barrier work.
  • A34, from 8pm April 3 to 6am April 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Three Maids Hill to Bullington, Lane closures for maintenance works.
  • M3, from 8pm April 4 to 6am April 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 6 to junction 7, Lane closure for electrical works.
  • M3, from 8pm April 5 to 6am April 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 6, slip road and lane closures for signage work.
  • A34, from 8pm April 5 to 6am April 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Bullington to Whitchurch, Lane closure for maintenance works.
  • A303, from 8pm April 8 to 6am July 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 both directions M3, junction 9 to Three Maids Hill, carriageway closures for resurfacing work.
  • A303, from 8pm April 8 to 6am April 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Bullington to M3, junction 9 and A303 both directions Bullington to Micheldever, mobile lane closures for litter clearance.
  • M3, from 9pm April 8 to 6am April 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 7 to junction 6, slip road and lane closures for maintenance works.
