THIS year's INSPIRE Business Awards finalists have been announced after almost 100 entries came in for the awards.
Business stars and successful companies in the Basingstoke and Deane area found out who had made the final cut at a special event at the Apollo Hotel, Basingstoke, on Monday, March 25.
Finalists were announced in 12 categories – and now they will go through to a second round of judging when judges will visit the finalists before deciding the winner of each category.
The finalists heard some great tips from Joe Allnutt, director of Physical Balance which took home a winner’s award at INSPIRE 2023. Joe urged the finalists to make the most of the opportunities that come with getting through to the final stages of the prestigious awards.

Jonathan Pender, chairman of Destination Basingstoke – the not-for-profit company that organises the awards. said: “Congratulations to the INSPIRE Business Awards 2024 finalists.
“The various categories were keenly contested and it made for some challenging selections as the judges whittled down the finalists. The judges, including a representative from each of the category sponsors, are now looking forward to the judging visits.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony and dinner at Oakley Hall on Thursday, July 11.
This year’s INSPIRE Business Awards charity is Sport Parkinson’s, and The Gazette is once again the media partner for the prestigious awards.
The overall headline supporter of the INSPIRE Business Awards is Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, and all the finalists are either based, or operate, in the area.
All finalists will receive two free tickets to the awards final, and tickets will soon be going on sale for other guests to come along and be part of this very special event.
