A MUCH-loved volunteer who has been devoting her free time to Citizens Advice Basingstoke is waving goodbye after 15 years of service.
Janet Horley, who is a former school teacher, has been volunteering with Citizens Advice Basingstoke since 2009 and was presented with a bouquet of flowers to celebrate her last day with the charity just before the Easter holidays.
Jane Charlick, office manager, said: “Janet has been a huge part of our administration team, working one day a week with us to ensure that our paperwork on behalf of clients is up to date, and enabling our advisers to provide free, confidential and impartial advice to local people needing our help.
