SHOPPERS are being encouraged to purchase pre-loved items to raise funds for a Basingstoke hospice.
Staff at St Michael's Hospice are excited to hold a second kilo sale at Festival Place from 9am to 6pm on Saturday, April 13 and from 11am to 5pm on Sunday, April 14.
The kilo sale is an opportunity to purchase pre-loved quality items while raising funds for the hospice.
Women's, men's, and children's clothing, shoes, and accessories will all be available and those who come along will be able to purchase a kilo of items for £10 or part of a kilo (£1 per 0.1kg).
Colin Tanner, retail business manager at the hospice, said: "We are really excited to introduce our second kilo sale at Festival Place. Our first kilo sale at the end of 2023 was so well received that we have decided to make our second one open for the whole weekend.

"It will be bigger and better than before, with some amazing bargains to be had, and everything raised will help us to continue supporting people with life-limiting illnesses across North Hampshire. We want to thank Festival Place for letting us host our kilo sale in their shopping centre – we can't wait to see everyone getting involved on the weekend of the 13 April."
The money raised will go towards supporting the charity's care services.

Festival Place's marketing manager, Sian Fisher, added: “St Michael’s Hospice has been our charity of the year for several years now, and we’re delighted to be able to help by donating a fundraising space for this second kilo sale.
