HUNDREDS of homes, businesses, and shops in Odiham have been plunged into darkness due to a power cut this morning.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) has said that 35 postcodes have been affected by the outage, as well as approximately 366 customers.
The power went out at 10.30am and is not expected to be restored until 3.30pm.
SSEN has informed customers that engineers are en route to the area, and will 'get straight to work on investigating the fault and attempt to restore your power'.
The company added: "The cause of this power cut is a fault on our underground network. This is the most common type of fault we see and our teams are very experienced in dealing with these issues."
