DRIVERS in and around Basingstoke and Deane will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that nine closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• A303, from 8pm April 8 to 6am July 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 both directions M3, junction 9 to Three Maids Hill, carriageway closures for resurfacing work.
• A303, from 8pm April 8 to 6am April 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Bullington to M3, junction 9 and A303 both directions Bullington to Micheldever, mobile lane closures for litter clearance.
• A34, from 8pm April 10 to 6am April 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Whitchurch to Litchfield, Lane closures for maintenance works.
• A34, from 8pm April 11 to 6am April 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Litchfield to Beacon Hill, Lane closures for maintenance works.
• A34, from 8pm April 12 to 6am April 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Beacon Hill to Tothill, Lane closures for maintenance works.
• A34, from 8pm April 15 to 6am April 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Tothill to Highclere, Lane closures for maintenance works.
• A34, from 8pm April 16 to 6am April 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Highclere to Speen, Lane closures for maintenance works.
• A303, from 8pm April 19 to 6am April 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Micheldever, slip road and lane closures for inspection work.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
