MORE acts have been announced for this year's CarFest including glam-rock superstar Jake Shears and Johnny Marr of The Smiths.
Created by renowned broadcaster Chris Evans, the festival is gearing up for its 13th edition, promising an unforgettable experience for attendees.
The festival is scheduled to take place at Laverstoke Park Farm, Overton, from Friday, August 23 to Sunday, August 25.
X Factor icon Olly Murs, Eurovision heavyweight Sam Ryder, queen of British soul Beverley Knight, pop-rock legends Scouting for Girls, and reggae pop fusion pioneers UB40 ft Ali Campbell are just a few of the musical acts already announced.

Building on the already star-studded line-up, the newest additions include the legendary talents of former Verve lead singer Richard Ashcroft; glam-rock superstar Jake Shears, lead singer of Scissor Sisters; and guitar virtuoso Johnny Marr, of The Smiths, whose iconic tunes are sure to mesmerise and captivate.
Adding to the already bustling line-up will be rock band Kula Shaker; DJ Judge Jules; A-list actor Damian Lewis performing rock and jazz songs; Johnny Hates Jazz, and CarFest’s favourite Dr Rangan Chatterjee will also be hitting the stage with his very own band.
Beyond the music, CarFest presented by bp pulse will feature three new StarFest stage talents: Ed Byrne, the witty and observational comedian known for his television appearances; Jay Blades, the skilled furniture restorer and presenter famous for his work on BBC's The Repair Shop; and Russell Kane, the comedian recognised for his sharp wit and humour. The three stars will take the stage alongside the likes of car aficionado James May; actor and TV presenter Rob Brydon; astronaut Tim Peake; architect George Clarke; BAFTA winner Ben Miller and Ted Lasso star James Lance.

Additionally, for the foodies among us, CarFest will be returning with a feast of talent at this year’s FoodFest. Head on over to The Chef’s Stage Prepped and Served by Cuisinart, hosted by baker Briony May Williams. Gracing the stage will be Michelin-starred chef, renowned for her Italian-inspired cuisine, Angela Hartnett, who will be alongside cake artist Molly Robbins. Spicing up the stage is the culinary prowess of Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala and Atul Kochar whose authentic Indian flavours promise to tantalise taste buds. Finally, prepare to be impressed by the cooking of celebrated Italian cuisine expert, Theo Randall, and innovative chef, Michael Caines.
Cuisinart will also be presenting both The Kitchen Table and The Cook’s Companion, hosted by esteemed baker and winner of The Great British Bake Off, Candice Brown, and seasoned food writer, Ellen Manning, respectively.
For all the barbecue lovers, Napoleon Grills will be presenting the BBQ Cookout, hosted by masters of the grill duo Sam Evans and Shauna Guinn, starring a stellar line-up of grill masters, including Glynn Purnell on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Angela Hartnett on Saturday, and Atul Kochhar and Michael Caines on Sunday.
