THE fire service has been on the scene of an incident in Festival Place, Basingstoke.
Fire crews, along with police, have been spotted in Churchill Way this evening (Thursday, April 11).
It is understood that emergency services have been present since around 8pm.
Hampshire fire service, Hampshire Constabulary and Festival Place have all been contacted for more information.
A resident at Crown Heights said that smoke from the fire in Festival Place blew into the apartment block and some residents chose to leave.
They told the Gazette that a car was on fire in the Festival Place car park.
They said: “We hope the driver is OK but we live in fear.”
