Basingstoke Town FC suffered a crushing defeat against Swindon Supermarine last Saturday, falling 3-0 in an away match in Wiltshire.
The Stoke lineup saw one change, with Joe Redmond replacing Shane Hollamby.
Supermarine took an early lead in the 13th minute, followed by another goal in the 32nd minute.
Just before halftime, Basingstoke Town's Curtis Angell was forced off the field due to injury, with Luis Le Paih taking his place.
The second half proved even more challenging for Basingstoke Town as they faced a string of injuries.
With three more players going down, the team was forced to play most of the remaining time with only 10 men.
Swindon Supermarine capitalised on this disadvantage, scoring their third and final goal in injury time to secure a decisive victory.
Manager Dan Brownlie said he was somewhat embarrassed by the result.
"It was another where we had effectively four injuries and finished the game with 10 men with best part of 25-30 minutes.
"But as soon as we went down to 10 we used it as an excuse for the result and the overall performance."
'Stoke will play their final home game of the season this Sunday, April 21, as they welcome Dorchester Town FC to Winklebury.
