A PETROL station in Basingstoke has been closed due to an incident.
Sainsbury's Petrol Station, in Wallop Drive, has been closed off to members of the public after fire engines and police cars were spotted earlier this morning.
Staff at the petrol station confirmed that it will remain closed until 2-3pm, but did not provide any further information about the nature of the incident.

A shopper told the Gazette that they saw an ambulance, a couple of fire engines, and police cars, but that they 'don't have the faintest idea' what happened.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters from Basingstoke were called to assist Emergency Service colleagues at an incident off Wallop Drive, Basingtoke, at just after 9am this morning (18 April).
"HIWFRS is no longer at the scene."
The Gazette has contacted Hampshire Constabulary and Sainsbury's for comment.
