STUDENTS at a college in Basingstoke are celebrating after their restaurant has been rated number one on Tripadvisor.
The Restaurant at Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT) received the top spot, out of 126 restaurants in the town.
Daniel Spittle, restaurant manager and course director for hospitality and catering said: "We are absolutely thrilled to be ranked number one on Tripadvisor in Basingstoke.

"This recognition, alongside our AA Rosette Award, is a huge motivation for our team, and we're committed to continuing to provide our customers with an exceptional dining experience."
The establishment is rated five stars on the travel website, with one reviewer saying: "This restaurant never lets you down. As always a great meal and service."
Another said: "Interesting and imaginative food which was very well presented."
The restaurant offers a unique learning environment where students can hone their culinary and service skills in a real-world setting, under the guidance of experienced industry professionals.
Students leave college prepared to thrive in the competitive hospitality and catering industry.
