TWO new shops are opening in Basingstoke town centre.
Signs have gone up on a unit inside Festival Place advertising the opening of Aimy Beauty.
The unit was previously occupied by His and Kids – a hairdressers for children – which closed in 2020 after going into liquidation.

The unit has since remained empty.
The news comes after we reported that Italian coffee shop Da Mariu' is also opening just outside Festival Place, in Wote Street.
Signs up outside say Aimy Beauty is ‘opening soon’ and it is already on the shopping centre’s map, located between Ryman and G Factory.
Festival Place has been asked for further information.

A second shop is also opening in the town centre. H&T Pawnbrokers will open in an empty unit just outside of Festival Place next to Trilby's barbershop and hairdressers.
The business is part of a large chain with more than 270 stores nationwide, with the closest to Basingstoke currently in Reading.
The store allows customers to borrow money in exchange for valuables and also a range of other financial services including travel money, cashing cheques and exchanging cash for gold.
It is expected to 'open soon' in Basingstoke.
