BASINGSTOKE and Deane's motorists will have 10 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network in the next two weeks.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A303, from 8pm April 8 to 6am July 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 both directions M3, junction 9 to Three Maids Hill, carriageway closures for resurfacing work.
And a further nine closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M3, from 8pm April 29 to 6am May 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 6 to junction 7, Lane closures for barrier work.
• M3, from 8pm May 3 to 6am May 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 5 to 6, Lane closures for barrier works.
• M3, from 8pm May 6 to 6am May 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 6, Lane closures for barrier works.
• M3, from 8pm May 7 to 6am May 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 6 to 7, Lane closures for barrier works.
• A303, from 8pm May 7 to 6am May 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Micheldever to M3, Lane closures for barrier works.
• A34, from 9pm May 7 to 6am May 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Litchfield to Highclere, slip road and lane closures for technology works.
• M3, from 8pm May 8 to 6am May 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 7 to 8, Lane closures for barrier works.
• M3, from 8pm May 9 to 6am May 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 8 to junction 9, Lane closures for drainage work.
• A303, from 8pm May 9 to 6am May 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Overton to Barton Stacey, Lane closures for barrier works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
