A MAN from Tadley has been fined after being caught in charge of a car in Sherfield on Loddon while exceeding the specified limit for a controlled drug.
Alfie Haywood, 20, of The Green, was caught in charge of a vehicle on The Plantation, in Sherfield on Loddon on November 18, when the proportion of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in his blood was not less than 2.5 - the legal limit is two.
During a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Thursday, April 25, Haywood pleaded guilty to the offence.
Magistrates ordered him to pay £120 fine, £85 court costs and £48 victim surcharge.
His driving record was endorsed with 10 penalty points.
