Basingstoke Gymnastics Club's aerobic gymnasts celebrated a fantastic showing at the Southern Region Championships, bringing home a multitude of medals and showcasing exceptional talent across various age groups and categories.
The results highlight the club's depth and dedication, with gymnasts achieving podium finishes in numerous categories:

Individual Age Group (IAC): Podium finishes in L3 U10, L3 O11, and L4 U10.

Pre-Foundation (6-8 years): Amalie secured second place with the highest artistry score, while Stanley and Anabelle finished second in pre-foundation pairs.

Regional: From Izzy's strong sixth place finish to the gold medal win by Isabelle and Jemima and numerous other podium finishes in pairs and group routines.

National: Impressive results including a national first-place finish (highest NAC score) by Rebecca, alongside podium finishes for Dominique, Hannah, Sophie, Ashley, and Abi (closed categories).

Foundation (9 years): Lucy earned multiple podium finishes in individual and group routines.

International: Rosa, Sukki, Starr, Lily, Xanthe, and their teammates dominated the International category, securing top positions in solo, pairs, and group routines.
Basingstoke Gymnastics Club's Aerodance teams also delivered outstanding performances, with impressive results in all participating routines: Thriller (1st), Grease (2nd), Cabaret (2nd), Bhangra (2nd/3rd), and Transformers (1st).
Women's artistic gymnasts who competed in separate South Regional Finals also had a brilliant outing.
Anaiya (11th All Around, 3rd on beam) and Eliza (8th All Around, 5th on floor) displayed remarkable performances.
Meanwhile, Millie has been selected to compete in the GBR Junior Women's Team at the TeamGym European Championships, along with her coach Katie, who will be joining the team in Baku, Azerbaijan.
