A WOMAN was cut free from her car following a crash on the M3 southbound/westbound on Wednesday, May 8.
Fire crews from Hartley Wintney, Fleet and Basingstoke were called to the scene shortly before 10am after her car crashed with another vehicle and left the road somewhere between Hook and Fleet junctions on the M3.
Firefighters worked to safely extricate the woman from the car before she was transferred to the care of South Central Ambulance Service paramedics at the scene.
Fortunately, she was unharmed, police said.
A police spokesperson said they were called to the scene at 9.41am after receiving report about a two-vehicle crash.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS) crews left the scene after receiving the stop message at 10.30am.
