POLICE have provided an update for a "serious" incident in Popley.
Hampshire Constabulary confirmed that a "serious assault" happened in Tasmania Close, Popley, shortly before 9pm last night, Sunday, May 12.
Police told the Gazette they will provide a more comprehensive update soon.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "I should have a much more comprehensive update for you soon, but for now I can confirm the following,
"We were called just before 9pm last night (12/5) to a report of a serious assault at an address in Tasmania Close, Basingstoke.
"Will provide more detail as soon as we can."
